Imitrex - Imigran Contents : Sumatriptan succinate.
Imitrex - Imigran Indications : Listed in Dosage.
Imitrex - Imigran Dosage : Adult Migraine A single dose of 50-100 mg. If a patient does not respond to the 1st dose of Imigran, a 2nd dose should not be taken for the same attack. Imigran may be taken for subsequent attacks. If symptoms recur, a 2nd dose may be given in the next 24 hr. Max: 300 mg/24 hr.
Imitrex - Imigran Adverse Reactions : Sensations of tingling, heat, heaviness, pressure or tightness in any part of the body, flushing, dizziness & feeling of weakness. Fatigue & drowsiness. Nausea & vomiting. Transient increase in BP. Visual disorders.
Imitrex - Imigran Drug Interaction : Ergotamine, MAOIs, 5-HT receptor inhibitors, lithium.
Imitrex - Imigran Precautions : May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Conditions predisposed to ischaemic heart disease. Hepatic or renal impairment. Controlled hypertension. |
